You've taken so much from me. My freedom. My home. My family. But there is one thing you will never be able to take. One thing that will always bring me joy. The look on your face when I do this.
Naya before killing Dred in "The Only Way"

Naya Dimdweller is the former handmaiden to Queen Rosmund and secret Prime Order spy. Her conflicting loyalties led her to be sentenced to execution, however, Janzo freed her from the prisons. Naya then fled the Outpost, leaving behind her lover and a slew of chaos.

Naya is also the long-lost twin sister of Janzo, though they were unaware of their relation for quite some time. Upon returning to Gallwood they were able to reconnect as siblings.

Biography[]

Naya's blood mother was a young barmaid at The Nightshade Inn when she gave birth to Naya and her twin brother, Janzo. Their mother died two weeks later. The Mistress noticed Janzo and took him in as she thought a son could be useful. Mistress sold Naya to a seamstress named Oshi. She was supposed to sell her to the slavers under the pretenses that she couldn't afford to keep both children, however, Oshi took pity on Naya and bought her instead.

Naya was raised at The Capital in Mimm's Burrow by a single mother. Naya grew up with an adoptive sister, however, she was never aware of her adoption. The burrow was where the poorest people in the capital resided and was a very rough area. According to Naya, the area was rough under King Ranulf's rule but became worse under the Prime Order's.

In "The Colipsum Conundrum", Gwynn is forced to find a new handmaid after the death of Lilly. Her new handmaid is Naya, who according to Gwynn, is a pitiful woman who can't even play cards. Calkussar assures her that Naya is worthy of her role and was the only person who was vetted to be loyal to the crown and not the Prime Order.

In "Beyond The Wall", Naya answers the door when Janzo knocks. When he demands to speak with Gwynn, Naya is unsure of what to do. Gwynn dismisses her when she realizes that Janzo wants to speak about Garret. A few days later, Gwynn witnesses the murder of General Calkussar by Everit Dred and is horrified. She is then bustled away by Naya who wants to take her somewhere safe.

In "The Vex Rezicon", Naya and Gwynn are in the sewers that run under the outpost. They discuss Naya's past and the Prime Order. Naya leaves to make sure it's safe for Gwynn, who was initially against the idea but Naya assured her it would be okay. Naya went to The Nightshade Inn and is escorted upstairs where she meets with Dred. Dred comments that her correspondence never mentioned Gwynn was a surviving royal. Naya defends herself by saying that she only recently found out, promising to deliver Gwynn to Dred in exchange for the lives of Naya's sister and mother. Dred tells her that if they capture Gwynn he will tell Naya where to find her family.

In "Where You Go, People Die", TBA

In "The Power of the Masters", Talon and Luna visit Naya, who is now the keeper of "The Shade" Inn in Relman, and convince her to help them since she was partially responsible for Luna's sister Ilyin's death. She leads them to the secret vault that Dred hid The Skevikor Key among various other religious items. She kills one of the guards of the vault and is shocked by her own actions. Luna then learns that Naya was the one who killed Dred, and they all proceed inside the vault. After acquiring the key, they are confronted by the four awaken gods.

In "The Pleasing Voice of the Masters", Naya does her best to avoid the fighting. She then takes the injured Luna away and they head towards the outpost. Once there, she is happily reunited with her twin. There she official meets Wren, and is delighted to Wren is pregnant with her brother's child. The two then spend some time while Janzo helps Luna recover. The next day however, she has to leave but promises to visit once her niece or nephew is born.

In "Nothing Lasts Forever", she makes it to the wedding of Talon and Garret Spears. She hands a tearing Munt a tissue before kneeling at the newly crowned Queen Talon.

Personality[]

On the surface, Naya is a kind, and humble girl that was raised in the poor district of The Capital. Despite living poor, her mother taught her manners and to read. Like her brother, Naya has a tendency to speak first without realizing what she originally meant. Also like her brother she cares deeply about those that she loves. So much so that she is willing to work with people she despises in order to protect them. Like when she was being coerced by Everit Dred, to betray Gywnn Calkussar so Naya's family can be safe from punishment. However, after finding out that her family was killed, she then killed Everit Dred herself. This shows that while she has a tendency to be kind and loving, she has a hateful and resentful persona laying deep beneath the sweet and kindhearted girl.

Physical Appearance[]

Naya is a young strikingly beautiful woman with long dark brown curly hair and light brown eyes with dark thick lashes. She shares some features with her twin, Janzo, such as their oval-shaped face, fine bone structure and large almond-shaped brown eyes.
